Palmetto Heritage Bank Streamlines Board Reporting and Strengthens Compliance with Banc Intranets’ Online Directors Portal

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn., May 11, 2016 – Banc Intranets, a provider of secure, web-based enterprise content management solutions for financial institutions, announced that its DirectorsLink® online board portal has strengthened compliance for Palmetto Heritage Bank by streamlining reporting processes for its board and committee meetings.

After evaluating multiple solutions, Palmetto Heritage Bank implemented DirectorsLink in August 2015 to provide its board members and officers with a secure, easy-to-use portal to access, view and comment on reports. Since the implementation, the bank reports that DirectorsLink has increased efficiency and flexibility in preparing for meetings by digitizing the necessary materials and making them accessible to each member via tablet. In addition, Palmetto Heritage Bank credits DirectorsLink for supporting the duties and responsibilities of its directors by maintaining accurate records of all meetings to deliver to examiners during regular audits.

“The portal gives us control to edit and substitute reports all the way up until the last minute on our tablets, which allows us to quickly adjust to any unexpected changes and also saves us a great deal of resources,” said Sandy Tilton, SVP of Palmetto Heritage Bank. “Our board members really like the portal’s simplicity and we are especially impressed with its reporting and documentation capabilities, which allow us to easily satisfy regulators’ requests and requirements.”

“Palmetto Heritage Bank’s ability to continue supporting and promoting the growth and success of its local communities requires a high level of organization from the top down and attention to every detail,” said Mark Anderson, CEO of Banc Intranets. “Leveraging DirectorsLink enables the bank’s leaders to better manage the many responsibilities and risk inherent to their respective positions, allowing the board to focus on making important decisions that grow the bank and create a competitive edge.”
