Equity Bank Selects Banc Intranets’ BancWorks Intranet Solution to Migrate from Outdated Legacy System and Capitalize on New Features and Easier Administration

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn., Dec. 2, 2019Banc Intranets, a provider of secure, web-based enterprise content management solutions for financial institutions, announced today that Equity Bank (Wichita, KS) has chosen to implement its BancWorks® employee intranet to take advantage of a better, more updated solution than the bank’s legacy system.

Equity Bank’s existing in-house intranet was developed internally and as the bank has grown, its legacy system needed additional features, content management tools, and benefits to offer Equity Bank’s employees across four states.

Implementing BancWorks provides Equity Bank with a system that will simplify the process of managing content, while minimizing the use of IT resources. BancWorks offers an assortment of new features that Equity Bank will leverage to benefit its 600-plus employees and institution as a whole.

“Banc Intranets has a proven track record of delivering enterprise content solutions that not only can centralize access to information but also offer innovative features that can increase employee efficiency and productivity,” said Julie Huber, Equity Bank’s Executive Vice President – Strategic Initiatives. “We are excited about making the transition to BancWorks, so we can capitalize on the tremendous benefits of utilizing this more advanced technology.”

“Our BancWorks intranet product is the ideal solution for Equity Bank as it will facilitate administration by allowing the bank’s business units to create, review and approve content specific to their area,” said Mark Anderson, CEO of Banc Intranets. “It will also enable Equity Bank to gain access to a host of new features, including electronic forms submission and routing, ticketing system, full site search, and page and document version controls.”

BancWorks is an innovative browser-based solution that gives employees immediate and secure access to their company’s information. It enables financial institutions, health care facilities and other organizations to create a single place where they can share policies, procedures, the latest news, and other details.
