|Banc Intranets Welcomes Holston Medical Group as Newest Client
JOHNSON CITY, Tn. - January 11, 2011 – Kingsport based Holston Medical Group (HMG) has learned you don’t have to be a financial institution to benefit from Banc Intranets’ content management software. HMG is using Banc Intranet's corporate intranet tool to cut costs and manage time and resources more efficiently as they move towards being an Accountable Care Organization.
BancWorks is the turnkey, browser-based intranet solution that gives every member of your organization the information they need with just the click of a mouse. It substantially cuts the amount of time and paper used to keep employees up to speed on policies, product information, training and employee procedures, through a well-organized system that is easy to navigate, search and administer.
“This system is very user friendly,” says Amy Honeycutt, HMG’s Information Systems Training Manager. “We’ve migrated two departments’ content to the site and we are working on others. For the content that has been migrated, and we expect to see some cost savings soon.”
The system seamlessly integrates with Active Directory, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and contains professional graphics, templates, and style sheets customized with your colors to maintain consistent corporate identity throughout the Intranet.
“HMG is a very well respected organization and we are pleased that they’ve chosen to entrust us with their intranet needs,” says Mark Anderson, President and Senior Partner of Banc Intranets.
Healthcare Organizations, like HMG, can benefit from BancWorks because it will help them be in compliance with new healthcare regulations concerning cutting costs, avoiding duplication in services, and keeping records organized and available.
Anderson continues, “The number one reason most organizations, including HMG, need BancWorks is to help them organize years worth of stored documents, incorporate new documents, alert employees about new product offerings, and support the flow of information from departments like Human Resources to employees throughout their system. The ability to organize all this information and make it readily accessible without overwhelming the IT division is invaluable.”
HMG representatives agree. “From our employees we’ve heard that the system is easy to use, and they like the layout of the system,” says Honeycutt. “From a manager’s standpoint, we like that we have the ability to track and document employee training and define what company information our users would see based on their role within the organization.”
Anderson says most organizations start to see a cost savings from time, resources and paper within six months from implementing BancWorks.
