Banc Intranets Adds Five New Employee Portal Customers in January
- Single point of access streamlines enterprise-wide training initiatives and centralizes internal communications -
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn., Feb. 15, 2016 – Banc Intranets, a provider of secure, web-based enterprise content management solutions for financial institutions, announced that five financial institutions selected its BancWorks® employee intranet in January, which streamlines day-to-day operations by providing an integrated, single point of access for internal documents, checklists, policies and other information.
The financial institutions include:
- Carolina Alliance Bank (Spartanburg, S.C.);
- FirstBank (Nashville, Tenn.);
- Peoples Bank of North Carolina (Newton, N.C.);
- Prime Meridian Bank (Tallahassee, Fla.); and
- Yakima Savings & Loan Association (Yakima, Wash.).
Each of the financial institutions sought an employee intranet that would streamline training initiatives and strengthen learning management systems. Also key to the decision process were integrated features, such as a help desk and ticketing system, as well as the ability to integrate with Microsoft’s Active Directory. After reviewing multiple solutions, BancWorks secure intranet was selected for its overall functionality, flexibility and ease-of-use for employees and administrators.
“We have more than 1,000 associates spread across 62 locations in the Southeast, so the ability to communicate consistently and effectively is critical to our ongoing success,” said Jeanie Rittenberry, Director of Marketing & Communications at FirstBank. “Not only does BancWorks provide us with a system that is specifically tailored to meet our needs, the industry expertise that Banc Intranets brings gives us added confidence that we have chosen the right solution.”
“I had prior experience with Banc Intranets in another organization,” said Walter Joyce, SVP and CTO of Peoples Bank of North Carolina. “When we began a branding facelift, it was a perfect time to look at a change to our intranet platform. All it took was a demo of the latest version to sell me again on BancWorks.”
“Yakima Federal Savings spent several months researching intranet vendors looking for a solution to the challenge we face with document management and communication,” said Leanne Antonio, EVP of Savings Administration at Yakima Federal Savings & Loan Association. “After considering five options we believe we found the smart solution in Banc Intranets.”
“Increasing internal efficiencies impacts how well a financial institution serves its customers and ultimately determines its overall success or failure,” said Mark Anderson, CEO of Banc Intranets. “By choosing Banc Intranets, these five clients are demonstrating what we expect to see from the industry moving forward: a growing desire to embrace technology that optimizes performance and strengthens business.”
